Bel's Story

I’m a Certified Breathwork Coach and 500-HR Yoga Teacher based in the Bay Area. I’m here to support a safe space to practice tools for relaxation, rest, and reflection. Through practicing with me, you will learn how to change your breath to change your life.

Nine years ago, I started practicing breathwork and yoga to relax and calm my constant stress and anxiety. My mind was stuck thinking about all the mistakes I’ve made in the past or constantly worrying and overthinking about my future. It was hard for me to feel comfortable with myself and I filled my life with unhealthy distractions to run away from my overwhelming negative thoughts.

After searching online to understand these feelings and to simply relax, it led me to take my first Yoga class. I felt so awkward and vulnerable. I thought, “Am I even doing this right?” or “Are people judging me?”. I was confronted with these negative thoughts that ruled my mind. I wanted to leave the class so I wouldn’t feel stuck in these emotions. But through the teacher’s calm presence and guidance, I was able to let go and be present with my thoughts and feelings for the very first time. I instantly fell in love with the practice because it was a way to connect to my mind, body, and soul. I loved seeing the growth, both mental and physical, and how it started to improve my everyday life. I started becoming more patient, calm, and the anxiety began to fade.

The techniques I learned to calm down my stress and anxiety were truly healing and transformative to my life. After dealing with constant overwhelm and stress for years, I finally learned tools to help and heal.

Where your attention goes, energy flows

From the consistent practice of breathwork, meditation, and yoga I was finally able to quiet the stream of incessant thoughts and create space in my mind to feel calm, at peace, and comfortable in my own body. I started to make real lasting changes in my life, and stay consistent with my self-growth journey.

And then the pandemic hit, I felt a strong calling from my intuition to not only continue to deepen my practice but to share this peaceful practice with others. I invested my time and energy in transformational breath coach training and yoga teacher training programs. I found joy in sharing helpful tips and techniques at a time of global uncertainty and stress to others who needed it most. I started sharing my knowledge on TikTok, which grew quickly in a matter of months.

I began building my knowledge of breathwork and how it instantly, scientifically, and safely calms the brain and body. I deepened my understanding of how breathwork is the first step to take control of your mind and body.

I am dedicated to sharing my passion for this ancient practice and knowledge with you. I offer free classes on YouTube which are accessible to all levels especially beginners! What I love is that you can enjoy these videos in the comfort of your own home because I designed these videos to support your at-home practice!
